The inverter terminal block is a type of connector, which can be divided into single-hole, double-hole, socket, hook, etc., and can be divided into copper silver-plated, copper galvanized, copper, aluminum, iron, etc. Their main function is to transmit electrical signals or conduct electricity. In engineering, it is the interface reserved by the pre-station engineering for the post-station engineering, and it is the pre-buried facility of the post-station interface engineering.

Inverter Terminal Classification

Inverters are divided into two categories based on power: strong current terminals and weak current terminals;

(1) High-voltage terminals refer to high-voltage and high-power terminals, usually including RST power supply terminals, UVW motor terminals, P+ and N- DC bus terminals, PB brake resistor terminals, E heat sink aluminum plate grounding terminals, etc. The energy of the inverter is transmitted through these terminals and transmitted to the motor after processing.

(2) Weak current terminals include weak current power supply terminals such as +24V, com, +10V, GND, FWD forward, REV reverse, X1~X7 multi-function definition terminals, RA, RB, RC internal relay output terminals, AO analog output terminals, VI, AI analog output terminals, RS485 communication terminals, etc. This type is also called control terminals.

How the inverter rotates, how fast it rotates, what its current state is, how it works with peripheral devices, etc. are all realized through the level of these terminals. Usually FWD, REV, X1~X7 send instructions to the inverter through the opening and closing of the contact signal of the external contactor. Generally, normally open contact control is more common, and some inverters can also define the positive and negative logic of the logic signal by themselves.

Analysis of the functions and usage of inverter wiring terminals

1. Instructions for use of the inverter wiring terminals

The inverter wiring terminals are divided into two parts: the main circuit and the control circuit. Open the rear cover of the inverter to see the main circuit terminals and the control circuit terminals. When using, be sure to connect according to the Appendix Figure 2.3.1. Since Appendix Figure 2.3.1 is the standard wiring diagram of the inverter, some functions are not required during specific use. Necessary wiring should be performed according to specific usage requirements, and unnecessary control terminals can be left unused.

3. Control circuit wiring

The control circuit wiring must be separated from the main circuit, otherwise it will cause interference and make the control function malfunction. Design the control circuit wiring according to the use requirements. Unnecessary terminals can be left unused. The control terminal functions are shown in Appendix Table 2.3.2
