A2B is a single master, multi-slave audio bus system originally developed to solve audio distribution challenges in automotive applications. Because traditional car audio architecture usually involves multiple point-to-point analog connections between head units, amplifiers, speakers, and microphones, the bus form is complex and the delay is large. At the same time, interference is more likely to occur between multiple wire harnesses, and wiring is difficult. In response to the above problems, ADI developed the A2B bus architecture. As a high-bandwidth bidirectional digital bus, A2B transceivers can connect a variety of devices such as microphones, digital signal processors, speakers, and sensors. In this video, we will work with senior engineer Allen to appreciate the excellent performance of A2B through content explanation and actual measured demo.
