Wall-climbing robot VertiGo

Total of 1 lesson ,3 minutes and 11 seconds
Profile

Disney Research and ETH Zurich jointly developed Vertigo, a wall-climbing robot that can climb vertical walls like a gecko. There are two thrusters at the bottom. The control motors can independently control the rotation speed of the thrusters, and can only control the appropriate thrust output of the two thrusters. The robot can walk freely on the ground and walls without interruption, and can even hang upside down from the ceiling. The adsorption capacity of Vertigo is related to the roughness of the wall. The smoother the surface, the worse the adsorption capacity.
