Cypress Semiconductor's TrueTouch® Gen4 series of touchscreen controllers now include advanced features, such as proximity detection that turns off the screen when an object approaches the touchscreen to avoid false touches. The Gen4 TMA468 controller can support a passive stylus with a pen tip of only 2 mm, allowing the touch screen to recognize handwriting up to 7 mm in size.
