This case simulates the access of Modbus TCP device data to the Ethernet network of Rockwell PLC. The device used is Rockwell ABPLC1769-L32E, Kaijiang Intelligent Ethernet/IP to ModbusTCP Gateway. MODBUS TCP slave station Kunlun Tongtai touch screen.
1. Configuration method: First, you need to open the Studio5000 configuration software, create a new project and add a site.
2. Add AB's PLC1769-L32E;
3. Use BOOTP-DHCP Server software to set the PLC IP in advance and connect it to the Internet.
4. Click TOOls-EDS Hardware Installation Tool to import the eds file of Ethernet/IP to ModbusTCP gateway;
5. Keep clicking Next, click Borwse to select the location of the EDS file;
6. Download the configuration to the PLC, right-click on Ethernet Prot and select New Module to add the Ethernet/IP to ModbusTCP gateway module;
7. Enter eip and search for EIP001;
8. Set the Ethernet/IP to ModbusTCP gateway name and IP address (the name can be arbitrary, mainly the IP address corresponds);
9. Click Change to set the input and output length;
10. Open the configuration software of Kunlun Tongtai touch screen and create a new TCP forwarding device;
11. Then start setting forwarding parameters;

13. Associate the corresponding view interface and the MCGS end is over. Open the gateway configuration software to configure the modbus
parameters
. Click New in the red circle and select EIP-MTC.
14. Set the IP address of the Ethernet/IP to ModbusTCP gateway and the input and output data length to be consistent with the PLC configuration;
15. Set the local port IP of Modbus TCP and keep it in the same network segment with KingView but with different IP;
16. Right-click on Modbus TCP and click Insert. Fill in the IP address of the slave server in the lower-level NODE.
17. Note: Response wait represents the longest waiting time for the slave station to respond, and polling delay represents the interval after the slave station responds before sending the next command;
18. Select the corresponding function code and fill in
the register
address and quantity. After configuring multiple commands, click on the automatic calculation mapping address, and the data will automatically correspond to the corresponding IQ address;
