VeriSilicon's semiconductor IP licensing business market share ranks first in China and seventh in the world [according to IPnest's statistics in April 2023]. Among the top ten IP companies in the world, VeriSilicon's IP types rank in the top two [according to IPnest's IP classification and public information of each company]. VeriSilicon has been working in the GPU field for more than 20 years, and its chips integrated with its GPU IP have been shipped nearly 2 billion units worldwide. In addition, VeriSilicon's self-developed NPU IP has been used by 72 customers in their 128 AI chips, covering more than 10 market sectors. More than 100 million AI chips integrated with VeriSilicon's NPU IP have been shipped worldwide. In terms of video processing, the first-generation video transcoding acceleration solution with VeriSilicon's VPU IP provides 6 times the transcoding capability of traditional high-end CPUs while consuming only 1/13 of that. This innovative technology has been successfully applied to media accelerator chips based on 5nm process customized by global leading chip companies and has entered the mass production stage.
At the same time, Shang-Hung Lin, Vice President of VeriSilicon Vision and Imaging Products, will attend Session 7.8 on the afternoon of April 10 on the theme of "Embedded Vision and Edge AI" and deliver a keynote speech entitled "Visual Perception Using Transformer Neural Networks on Embedded Devices" at 1:45 pm.
"We are pleased to showcase our latest innovative IP solutions at Embedded World 2024. Our extensive portfolio of intelligent pixel processing IPs from camera input to display output (Glass-to-Glass) is silicon-proven, production-proven, and application-proven for a wide range of applications including low-power devices and high-performance data centers," said Weijin Dai, Executive Vice President and General Manager of IP Business Unit at VeriSilicon. "We not only provide our own IPs, but also work with third-party partners such as RISC-V IP providers and GUI software providers to provide customers with competitive solutions. Our commitment to IP innovation is aimed at helping our customers succeed and enabling them to launch innovative products to the market faster."
