Both B26 and B25 Bluetooth modules support BLE5.0 master-slave integration, support OTA Bluetooth wireless upgrade module firmware, and have a transmission distance of up to 50 meters. The price is also the same. The biggest difference between the two modules is the power consumption and pinout.

Power consumption as low as 102μA
Although the power consumption of both modules, B25 and B26, is as low as microamperes, the power consumption of B26 is lower than that of B25, with a sleep current of 102μA and supports custom connection and broadcast intervals.
The microampere-level power consumption and ultra-small size can effectively solve the power supply problems encountered by current IoT Bluetooth devices in long-term use. A standard button battery can be used for the device for many years.
The following is the actual measured working current data of this module under the default settings. It is for reference only. The working current will be different under different settings and working scenarios. The settings can be adjusted according to the specific application scenario to strike a balance between power consumption and performance.

BLE5.0 master-slave integration
HLK-B26 is a BLE5.0 master-slave integrated Bluetooth module that supports OTA Bluetooth wireless upgrade module firmware and can be tested through the B40 test suite and B40 APP.
At the same time, B26 can be set as a Bluetooth slave device or host device. The host mode supports connecting 1 slave, and the slave mode supports up to 1 host connection.

Ultra-small size, long-distance transmission

HLK-B26 uses low-power Bluetooth chip, main frequency 96MHZ, RISC 32-bit CPU.
HLK-B26 is super small, only 14*9.5mm. The module has super small size and super long transmission distance, and the communication distance can reach 50m.

B26 is very suitable for instrumentation due to its wireless transmission, stable transmission signal, low power consumption and high cost performance. Instrumentation equipment integrated with B26 can ignore the external environment when monitoring data, and read and monitor data stably and accurately.

Smart Transportation
The B26 Bluetooth module can also provide smart transportation solutions such as smart parking and smart charging stations.
The smart parking lock solution is to install a Bluetooth module on the parking lock, transmit data with the Bluetooth of the control end (mobile phone) through a wireless channel, and use the APP of the control end (mobile phone) to control the working status of the parking lock through software operation. This can effectively utilize parking space resources and alleviate the problem of "difficult parking" in cities.
In addition, based on the ultra-high cost-effectiveness and excellent characteristics of B26, the module can also be widely used in security, automotive, consumer electronics, medical, power, industrial wireless control, smart buildings, sensor networks, home automation, smart factories and other scenarios.

Test debugging baseboard
In order to enable users to quickly verify and debug the module, Hilink has selected the B40 test board as the B26. It is recommended that you use this test board when using this module for the first time.
The test baseboard is directly powered by USB and has a built-in USB to serial port function. After connecting to the computer via a USB cable, you can connect to the serial port of the module via the USB to serial port converter. There is no need to connect an additional serial port cable, which is easy to use.

Bluetooth serial port transparent transmission function verification
Our company has developed a special mobile phone Bluetooth transparent transmission test APP for this module for users to use.
The specific test operation process is as follows:
1. Connect the module to the test baseboard correctly and connect the test baseboard and computer via USB cable.
2. Use the serial port debugging tool on the computer to open the corresponding serial port.
3. Open the transparent transmission test APP on your mobile phone. The APP will display the Bluetooth devices automatically searched around. Click the Bluetooth device name corresponding to the module to connect. The default name of the B26 module is HLK_B26_****, and the suffix is the last four digits of the MAC address.
