The upgrade of perception algorithm is the key to the transition from L2 to L3 intelligent driving system. Compared with the traditional 2D+CNN algorithm, the advantages of BEV+ Transformer algorithm are: 1) higher accuracy of perception output information; 2) high robustness; 3) strong generalization ability, which is conducive to the implementation of high-level intelligent driving in cities. The breakthrough of perception algorithm + the clear support of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for the commercialization of L3 will accelerate the domestic progress towards L3 commercialization.
