DPRD_DAT: Read consistent data of a DP standard slave

This instruction applies to central modules as well as DP standard slaves and PROFINET IO devices.

The following data types can be used: BOOL, BYTE, CHAR, WCHAR, WORD, LWORD, DWORD, INT, UINT, USINT, SINT, LINT, ULINT, DINT, UDINT, REAL, LREAL. These data types can also be used in data structures of type ARRAY or STRUCT.

o The data types STRING and WSTRING are not supported.

o Supports PLC data types (UDT) and system data types.

• If no errors are sent during data transmission, the read data are entered into the target range defined in the RECORD parameter .

DPWR_DAT: Write consistent data to a DP standard slave

The "DPWR_DAT" instruction transfers the data from the RECORD parameter consistently to the central module or the addressed module of a DP standard slave/PROFINET IO device and, if necessary, to the process image (eg if the address range of the affected DP standard slaves is the same as that of the process image).
