Humidifier Noise Causes

Reason 1: When the machine is working, there are fans and atomizer plates. The atomizer plates produce mist through high-frequency vibration, and the fan rotates to blow the mist out. The fan may have shifted during transportation, so slight noise is generated.

Reason 2: Water sound. When the humidifier is in use, the water in the water tank replenishes the bottom atomization area. The atomizer atomizes the water into water mist and sends it out of the body. The fine mist in the atomization is blown out, and the larger mist condenses into water droplets and falls back into the sink, producing water sounds. It is normal to have water sounds in this process. Please feel free to use it! When sleeping at night, it is best to place the machine 2-3 meters away from the bed, or at the end of the bed for humidification, rather than at the head of the bed. Too close humidification distance causes excessive local relative humidity and affects sleep health, so it is wrong to place it at the head of the bed or too close.

Solution to the loud noise of humidifier

Open the back cover and remove the small fan. You can apply some lubricating oil or just go to the computer market and buy one and replace it.

The humidifier makes noise after using it for a while, which is mainly caused by the fan inside. Generally speaking, the reason why the fan makes a loud buzzing sound when running is mainly because there is no lubricating oil in the fan rotor part. Of course, the noise may become smaller after the motor has been running for a while.

Humidifier maintenance method

1. Ultrasonic humidifiers are best used with pure water, because the water quality in many areas is hard, that is, the calcium and magnesium ion content is high. In addition, water plants use bleaching powder and other water purifiers when treating water. These ingredients are very unfavorable for humidification. Some calcium and magnesium ions are sprayed out with water mist and diffused on the surface of objects and the ground. After drying, they form "white powder" scale, and the other part is precipitated on the surface of the transducer and the sink to form solid scale. This is all caused by impure water quality. Moreover, after the scale on the surface of the transducer is formed, it will affect the humidification effect. If it is not cleaned in time, it will cause the transducer to be overloaded and burn the transducer and electronic components.

2. Regularly replace the old water in the water tank. If the water is stored for too long, the water quality will change. Therefore, do not drain the water in the water tank or sink when it is not used for a long time.

3. Do not add inferior additives (such as perfume) to the water tank, which may easily cause cracks in the water tank and the base where the water contacts, affecting the normal operation of the machine.

4. When storing the humidifier, please clean and dry the wet parts. It is best to place it in a ventilated place to air dry before packing it in a box. Tip: Do not use plastic bags for storage.

5. There are three points to note when cleaning the transducer:

First, disconnect the power supply before proceeding.

Secondly, use a special cleaning agent to clean it. When cleaning, drop 5-8 drops of cleaning liquid on the surface of the transducer. Of course, the amount of cleaning liquid should be increased or decreased according to the degree of scaling until the scale is removed. Be careful not to use hard tools to force scale removal to avoid scratching the transducer.

Finally: After cleaning, rinse the sink with clean water. When rinsing, be sure not to let water flow or splash into the base to avoid short circuits and damage to electronic components.

6. The water level float switch should also be carefully checked during use. If the float is scaled and weighed, the waterless automatic stop function will be lost, affecting the normal operation of the machine.

7. Clean the air duct. All humidifiers (except electric heating type) have wind-driven devices. With this device, there are air inlets and air outlets. Long-term use of the air inlet will also cause dust blockage, resulting in poor air intake and direct impact on the diffusion of water mist. The air inlet and air outlet of the machine should be cleaned regularly.
