DCDC
The car driving recorder is powered by the car battery. The MCU, interface, wireless module, etc. all require low voltage power supply, so one or two stages of DCDC power supply are needed to reduce the battery voltage to low voltage.
As primary power supplies, TPP60508**** and TPP60308 have an input voltage of up to 60V. For passenger car 12V batteries and commercial vehicle 24V battery systems, they have sufficient design margins to prevent high-voltage pulses from damaging the primary power supply. At the same time, the soft-start function can control the rising slope of the output voltage when it is turned on to eliminate system overshoot.
As a secondary power supply, TPP36308 can provide an output current of up to 3A in TSOT23-6 package. The synchronous rectification integrates high-side and low-side MOSFETs to reduce the number of peripheral devices and improve power efficiency. The switching frequency is available in two versions: 400kHz and 1MHz. The former can reduce EMI interference, while the latter can reduce the inductor size, thereby saving PCB area.

Efuse
To prevent certain peripherals (such as cameras) from overcurrent or short circuit, which may cause rapid battery consumption, the electronic fuse Efuse can limit the current to provide protection.
As a 12V Efuse, TPS14P50 adopts a small 3mmX3mm package, has very few peripheral devices and provides multiple protection modes; it can provide effective protection for overload, short circuit, voltage surge, surge current and reverse current; the current limit value is flexibly adjustable from 2A to 5A with an accuracy of ±15%; the internal clamping circuit can limit the input voltage to a fixed maximum value without the need for external devices.
TPS14P50
Input voltage range: 4.5~14V, maximum withstand voltage 20V
Current range: 2A~5A adjustable
Current accuracy: 15%
