The R-type car transformer is an electronic device that converts low-voltage 12v24v48v DC power into 220-volt AC power. It gets its name because we usually convert 220-volt AC power into DC power, and the power transformer does the opposite. We are in an era of mobility, mobile office, mobile communication, mobile leisure and entertainment. In a mobile state, people not only need batteries and storage batteries to provide low-voltage DC power, but also 220-volt AC power that is indispensable in daily environments. Generally speaking, the equipment of a vehicle-mounted mobile substation is moved from the ground to a trailer, and all the equipment of the substation is integrated into one or several flatbed trailers. The transformer fixed in the substation only considers the transportation process. In fact, problems will occur during transportation, and the secondary lifting core needs to be checked on site. With the efforts of various manufacturers, the internal fixing problem of the transformer has been basically solved, and the on-site secondary lifting core has been cancelled in most cases. However, for different vehicle-mounted transformers, station-type transformers are generally only transported once, and vehicle-mounted transformers are transported more than once, so the interior needs additional reinforcement.


The development of vehicle power supply has always been closely related to the development of magnetic components. The DC-DC electronic transformer is a circuit that converts a DC transformer into another DC transformer, and the vehicle charger is mainly composed of an electronic transformer and a power tube. The DC-DC converter is an important part of the power circuit. In the field of electric vehicles, high frequency, miniaturization, high efficiency, low cost, and high intelligence are the main development directions of vehicle power supply, among which the vehicle charger has strict requirements on the volume and weight of the electronic transformer.


The power density of the on-board DC-DC converters on the market is generally low and the size is large, which makes it difficult to meet the application of on-board converters. At present, the R-type electronic transformer is more suitable for on-board converters. It is small in size, has sufficient power, multiple protection devices, is safe and reliable, has good heat dissipation, and is safer using high insulation materials.
