The 220V motor has two capacitors, which are dual-value motors. One with a larger capacitance is the starting capacitor, and the other with a smaller capacitance is the running capacitor. How to achieve reversal of 220v motor with 2 capacitors
There is a centrifugal switch inside the motor. When the motor starts and the speed reaches 70% of the rated speed, the starting capacitor with a larger capacitance is disconnected from the circuit under the centrifugal action of the motor, thus completing the task, leaving the running capacitor still connected in series in the starting winding of the motor to work. The working principle diagram is as follows:
This structure of single-phase motor has good starting performance and running performance, relatively high power factor and efficiency, suitable for load starting and low noise load, such as household appliances, pumps, small machine tools, etc. If you want to change the single-phase capacitor starting and running type, the direction of rotation of the asynchronous motor, just need to swap the two output terminals of one of the two winding coils.
It is relatively simple to realize forward and reverse rotation of the motor with this structure. You only need to buy a HY2-30 forward and reverse switch. The following is a physical wiring diagram of a dual-value motor.
The middle position of the forward and reverse switch is the stop state, the left side is forward rotation, and the right side is reverse rotation. The specific wiring method is:
1. After purchasing the forward/reverse switch, you need to connect the B point terminal inside the switch to the D3 terminal terminal with a wire;
2. Connect the neutral line N output from the 2P circuit breaker to the A point of the forward/reverse switch, and extend the wire to Z2 in the motor junction box;
3. Connect a wire from the output of the circuit breaker to the C-point terminal of the forward/reverse switch, and extend the internally connected wire to the common point of the two capacitors of the motor;
4. Connect a wire from the D2 terminal of the forward/reverse switch to the U2 terminal box of the motor, and connect a wire from the D1 terminal of the forward/reverse switch to U1 in the motor terminal box.
5. After the entire circuit is connected, check it to make sure it is correct.
