As can be seen from the figure, the 24V system over-load dump test requires the use of TVS tubes (SM8S36CA and 6.6SMDJ36CA) to protect automotive electronic products from transient surge threats and damage. For the over-load dump

In response to the load dump test of the DC 24V power supply system in automobiles, Dongwo Electronics has launched a high-power TVS tube with a smaller package: SMD8S36CA, which is used for load dump protection of the DC 24V power supply in automobiles and can pass the ISO 16750-2 P5a (Us=202V, Td=350ms, Ri=4Ω) test level.
