IAR launches new brand image and name


New visual identity reflects company’s transformation journey and focus on strengthening embedded development capabilities

Uppsala, Sweden – February 13, 2023 – IAR, a global leader in embedded development software and services, today announced the launch of a new brand image with an updated visual identity system (VI) and logo that more closely reflects the company’s strategic mission. In addition, the brand name has been officially updated from IAR Systems to IAR. Abandoning the “Systems” element in the name and adopting a more dynamic name is intended to show the industry a new image of the company that is more in sync with modern technology, advanced computing, and intelligence, which also echoes the important business transformation the company is undergoing.


The new brand image and modern new logo reflect the company's focus on future innovation and human experience, as well as its vision to make the world better, safer and more agile. Looking ahead, IAR will be committed to providing cutting-edge technologies for embedded development and embedded security.
