Hongjing Zhijia said that the recent rapid growth of personnel is an important reason for Hongjing Zhijia to set up an R&D center. It is reported that Hongjing Zhijia, which was established only three years ago, has R&D capabilities in various directions such as autonomous driving computing platforms, algorithms, and system integration. In addition to Shanghai and Beijing, Hongjing Zhijia also has R&D offices in Hangzhou, Hefei, and Detroit.
It is worth mentioning that in early May this year, Hongjing Intelligent Driving announced the completion of nearly 100 million yuan in Series A financing, led by Datai Capital, followed by Delian Capital and Yunjiu Capital, and oversubscribed by old shareholders such as Hillhouse Capital, BlueRun Ventures, Linear Capital, Tsinghua Research Capital, and Translink. It is reported that this round of financing of Hongjing Intelligent Driving will be mainly used for the expansion of technology and data teams and investment in the research and development of advanced autonomous driving technology.

Hongjing Intelligent Driving also revealed that it is expected that by the end of next year, its technical and data team will expand from the current more than 100 people to more than 300 people. The core focus will be on expanding the boundaries of high-level autonomous driving technology and building data barriers, and continuously optimizing and iterating the full-stack autonomous driving solution consisting of "automotive-grade computing platform hardware + software algorithm + system integration", accelerating product launch and meeting the market's increasing demand for mass production projects.
According to data, Hongjing Zhijia was founded in 2018 and has now become one of the few full-stack autonomous driving service providers in the industry with complete self-developed software and hardware capabilities. Its products cover multiple levels from L1 to L4, meeting the needs of passenger cars, heavy trucks, buses, mining trucks and other commercial vehicle scenarios. According to Liu Feilong, founder and CEO of Hongjing Zhijia, Hongjing Zhijia will deliver no less than 5 pre-installed mass production projects this year, achieving nearly 100,000 installations.
