There are two ways to connect the crossover and amplifier in the audio system.
One is the electronic crossover (active crossover), which means that the sound from the preamplifier goes into the crossover, and then the mono channel is divided into two or three channels and sent to each power amplifier for output to the speakers. For stereo, there are at least four or even six mono amplifiers.
Of course, the speaker connection also increases accordingly, and the output is directly sent to the speaker, and power division is no longer required. It is generally used in top-level HiFi systems.
There is also a kind of power crossover (passive crossover), most of which are integrated into the speaker. There is no need to consider the connection. You only need to connect the output line ± poles of the power amplifier to the same phase as the speaker.
The HiFi systems we use now are basically like this.
