MiniLED backlight products are expected to start to be mass-produced in the middle of next year.
On December 17, Leyard responded to investors' questions on the trading interactive platform and stated that MiniLED backlight products are developed and produced by Lijing, a joint venture between the company and Taiwan Epistar. Lijing is currently connecting with potential MiniLED backlight product users for sample delivery or small-batch trial production, and it is expected to start production by the middle of next year.
According to reports, Lijing's Mini LED backlight products will first be used in laptops, pads, and gaming screens. As the technology matures and costs decrease, they will gradually be used in areas such as mobile phones and automotive screens.
135-inch Micro LED TV is expected to be launched next year
On December 16, Leyard stated during an investor survey that the promotion of commercial display products has been very smooth since Lijing went into production for more than a month. Judging from the current production capacity, orders are relatively saturated, and the company plans to expand production in the first half of next year.
In terms of home TV planning, the company will advance in two time points. Next year, it will first launch a large-size self-luminous home theater; after 2022, as giant conversion technology matures and costs decrease, Micro will enter the 50-100-inch conventional consumer TV field in the future.
It is worth noting that Leyard's 135-inch Micro LED TV is expected to be launched next year.

When participating in an investor survey, Leyard also stated that the company's conventional products such as display screens and small-pitch displays saw signs of recovery before the end of this year, and the order growth rate was also accelerating. The industry dividends brought about by increased concentration have also been reflected, so it is very confident in the growth of channels and direct sales next year, and will gradually promote small-pitch products in the mid- and low-end markets next year.
Among them, video conferencing system screens have seen a large growth this year, and the growth of movie screens and transparent screens will also accelerate as the epidemic recovers. Overall, the layout of the display sector is relatively sound and the overall momentum is good.
