Sharp has just released a photo of the 8K camera it showed off a year ago , showing it undergoing shooting tests. Officially, the camera is still under development.

It is reported that Sharp's 8K camera will be equipped with an M43 sensor. Foreign media pointed out that this camera can shoot 8K/30p or 4K/60p video at 10bit/200Mbps, and the body is equipped with a full-size HDMI output interface, a mini XLR interface, and headphone and microphone interfaces. The Sharp 8K camera does not yet have an official name. It first appeared in early 2019 and then appeared again at CES 2020. The price is expected to be below $4,000.
According to foreign media Techradar, a Sharp spokesperson said the camera will be released in Japan in the second half of 2020 and in the United States shortly thereafter. But it has not yet been released.
