At the meeting, Ouyang Kun, Director of Software Product Strategy of vivo, and Su Tan, General Manager of Baidu's Internet of Vehicles Division, jointly demonstrated the unique driving experience brought by the cross-platform cooperation between vivo mobile phones and Baidu CarLife+. Relying on a convenient and smooth connection experience, vivo's "Smart Car" easily realizes information exchange between the two platforms. Based on the user's travel needs, this mode provides users with frequently used CarLife+ maps, music, voice assistants and other functions on the home page of the car system. At the same time, in order to meet the personalized needs of users, vivo has also realized the function of third-party applications on the mobile platform to cast screens on the car machine, including optimizing the horizontal and vertical screen interfaces to adapt to the car machine, and the navigation list and address list continue to use the order familiar to users on the mobile phone.
In response to consumers' demand for real driving scenes, the two brands have cooperated deeply to demonstrate the industry-leading new upgraded CarLife+ car-connected capabilities. In this cooperation, "Smart Car" is consumer-oriented, and through its "one-click connection" technology, it seamlessly brings the user's usage habits and experience on the mobile phone into the car scene, successfully extending the mobile phone ecosystem to the car scene, helping users to upgrade their car experience more easily.
Ouyang Kun said: "vivo will uphold the corporate philosophy of 'simplicity and joy' and hopes to use technology to better meet everyone's needs, make complex life simpler, and continue to bring more fun to everyone."
With users at the core, the two technology giants work together to create a win-win situation
In recent years, vivo has built an open, equal and mutually beneficial cooperation platform. Through cooperation with various industries, it is committed to providing more than 350 million vivo users with the ultimate product and service experience in all aspects of life. The cooperation between vivo and Baidu has a long history. Previously, vivo joined hands with Baidu to play "full-scenario knowledge marketing" to allow users to obtain authoritative and accurate information provided by vivo officials at the first time. As early as last October at the iQOO Neo 855 launch conference, vivo also teamed up with Baidu Maps to bring a new intelligent voice assistant, which made the majority of users shine. Jovi Voice and Baidu Maps Intelligent Voice Assistant successfully broke the barrier between the mobile phone system and APP, and realized the functional interoperability between intelligent voice assistants for the first time. The two intelligent voice systems each perform their duties and cooperate with each other. No matter which voice assistant the user wakes up, the required instructions can be completed smoothly. This move not only greatly improves the user's usage efficiency, but also brings new inspiration for the future application of voice technology.
One is a technology company driven by extreme products, with smart terminals and smart services as its core, and the other is a high-tech company with the mission of "using technology to make the complex world simpler". Faced with the separation of car machine services and other terminal devices such as mobile phones, and the difficulty in forming a coherent user experience in different usage scenarios, vivo hopes to solve the current problems of poor user experience, high interactive operation costs, and most users being more accustomed to using mobile phone holders through cross-scenario cooperation with Baidu CarLife+. With low-cost and high-efficiency network access technology, it will further popularize smart car networking products and services, allowing hundreds of millions of users to enjoy the openness and convenience brought by vivo and Baidu CarLife+.
Vivo adheres to the brand proposition of "Simplicity and Joy", continues to accurately understand consumer needs, constantly explores future smart life technologies, and brings more future smart technology products and services that are closer to users' lives. With the continuous development and maturity of 5G technology, the in-vehicle mode jointly created by vivo and Baidu, two technology giants, will provide users with the best interconnected experience and usher in a new era of interconnected travel scenarios.
