Li Shufu, chairman of Geely Holding Group, confirmed in a live broadcast that Geely is producing coronavirus-proof cars. Sitting in a Geely-produced car is as safe as wearing a 3M mask, and the prevention standard can reach the same standard as N95.
Li Shufu said that because we don’t want to see some people wearing masks while sitting in the car, Geely has invested a lot of money, manpower and technological resources to enable the car itself to filter viruses and implement all-round research and development of healthy cars.
He said: "If you sit in a car produced by us now, the virus from outside cannot get in. The anti-virus function is still very obvious, and the standard has reached the same standard as N95 masks."
Li Shufu also said that after this epidemic, people will pay special attention to safety and health, and health is also an integral part of safety. Future cars will be an intelligent mobile community composed of safety, health, and human-vehicle interaction. Geely will provide life and health protection for car users.
At present, this automotive project standard has been certified by some medical institutions in China and Germany.
