The e-cigarette retail mini-programs including RELX Mall, FLOW, YOOZ Store, etc. have all suspended services. According to the mini-program page, the suspension of services of the above mini-programs is due to the content belonging to the service scope that is not open to the platform.

In response, WeChat stated that the above-mentioned mini-program was suspected of engaging in the sales services of tobacco products such as e-cigarettes, and was suspected of violating the "WeChat Mini-Program Platform Operation Specifications", and the platform removed it from the shelves.

The ban on e-cigarette apps was expected, because e-cigarettes were criticized by CCTV earlier. As early as this year's 3.15 Gala, CCTV found through tests conducted by authoritative institutions that e-cigarettes contain ingredients such as glycerin in addition to nicotine, and when burned or atomized, they actually produce many harmful substances, such as formaldehyde. These products are now regulated as medical products in some European countries.

E-cigarettes were hit hard by WeChat and CCTV, and many people began to feel sorry for several senior executives of Smartisan Technology, including Luo Yonghao, Peng Jinzhou, and Zhu Xiaomu, because what they are doing is e-cigarettes.

Let’s talk about Zhu Xiaomu first. At the launch conference of Chatbot by KuaiRu Technology earlier this year, Luo Yonghao announced that Zhu Xiaomu, the No. 001 employee of Smartisan Technology, had started a business making e-cigarettes, and the brand was called Flow.

Next are Luo Yonghao and Peng Jinzhou. In April, Luo Yonghao reposted Peng Jinzhou’s Weibo, saying that he fully supported his entrepreneurship in Xiaoye e-cigarettes. Afterwards, Luo Yonghao also revealed that he was fully involved in Xiaoye e-cigarettes and was not just a supporter.

Seeing this, we have to once again express our regret for Luo Yonghao and other Hammer executives making e-cigarettes.
