Recently, Google reorganized its Robotics at Google lab, saying it would focus on using machine learning to build practical robots rather than robots that can move like humans or animals.

It is reported that this reorganization of Google mainly focuses on the mechanics of complex robots, such as a picking robot called "TossBot" developed by Google in cooperation with researchers from Princeton University, Columbia University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
