Among them, Mobileye, which mainly focuses on the traditional forward-looking integrated camera solution market, was affected by customer inventory adjustments and market changes. Its revenue in the first quarter of this year fell by nearly 50% (47.82%) year-on-year, and its revenue from the Chinese market also fell from US$159 million in the same period last year to US$86 million.

According to the monitoring data of Gaogong Intelligent Automobile Research Institute, in the first quarter of 2024, the number of passenger cars equipped with standard ADAS (L1-L2, excluding NOA) in the Chinese market (excluding imports and exports) increased by 23.61% year-on-year.

At the same time, since Mobileye has not yet entered the cabin-driver integration market, it will also be affected to a certain extent by changes in demand for some subsequent vehicle models (for example, single-chip cabin-driver integration), and will inevitably be at a disadvantage in the short term.

However, according to the latest information disclosed by the company, it is internally discussing cooperation with its parent company Intel to seek integration of the EyeQ series SoC with the latter's cockpit central computing platform; just earlier this year, Intel officially announced plans to launch a new AI-enhanced automotive SoC for the next-generation cockpit.

At present, the passenger car market in China is entering a period of popularization of "dual intelligence" (smart cabin and smart driving), especially the new forces leading in intelligence have begun to focus on the 150,000-250,000 yuan price range this year. Compared with the mainstream "Qualcomm + Nvidia" combination in previous years, there are still major variables in the core supply chain.
