According to the information released by Infineon at the "2024 Infineon Media Day" on May 22, in fiscal 2023, Infineon's global revenue hit a record high of 16.3 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 15%; profits reached 4.399 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 30%, mainly due to the structural growth brought about by the global trends of low carbonization and digitalization.


At the same time, data released by relevant institutions showed that in 2023, Infineon's automotive MCU sales increased by nearly 44% over the previous year, accounting for approximately 29% of the global market, and won the first place in the global automotive MCU market share for the first time.

Infineon pointed out that China's automotive industry is experiencing rapid growth and industry innovation. Data shows that in 2023, China's automobile production and sales will exceed 30 million units, China's automobile manufacturing industry operating income will exceed 10 trillion yuan, China's automobile exports will reach 4.91 million units, and China's new energy passenger car penetration rate will exceed 35%, and is expected to exceed 70% in 2030.

In 2023, Infineon's global automotive semiconductor market share will be 13.7%, its global automotive power device market share will reach 30.8%, and its global automotive microcontroller market share will reach 28.5%.


At the conference, Infineon also emphasized the success of AURIX™ products. The number of AURIX™ delivered in the global market has reached about 1 billion, the number of automotive brands using AURIX™ exceeds 50, and the product defect rate in fiscal 2023 is less than 0.15 parts per million.


Infineon's goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. By 2025, Infineon's carbon emissions are expected to be reduced by 70% compared to the 2019 baseline, and all of Infineon's factories around the world will use 100% green electricity, including Infineon's Wuxi factory.
