News on the morning of April 24th, at today's 2024 Huawei Intelligent Automotive Solutions Launch Conference, Huawei Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU CEO Jin Yuzhi delivered a speech.
He introduced that currently, Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU has shipped more than 3 million sets of intelligent components, launched 7 strategic cooperation models, has more than 300 ecological partners, has accumulated 30 billion in R&D investment, and has 7,000 R&D personnel.
At the press conference, he announced that Huawei launched a new brand of intelligent vehicle solutions, Qiankun, and released ten new products, including Qiankun Intelligent Driving, Qiankun Car Cloud, Qiankun Vehicle Control, and Hongmeng Cockpit.
Jin Yuzhi explained the meaning of Qiankun, saying that Qian means "the strength of the sky and the constant self-improvement", leading the future with the kinetic energy of upward growth; Kun means "the top of Kunlun", standing between heaven and earth and striving for the future. "Qiankun" means to break through the sky upwards and lead the industry, and to take root downwards and master hard-core technology.
"Qiankun" and "Hongmeng Cockpit" are the two core brands of Huawei's intelligent vehicle solutions.
Among the ten new products released by Huawei, the Qiankun ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system and the new generation of HarmonySpace cockpit are undoubtedly the two most important sectors.
1. Qiankun ADS 3.0 Intelligent Driving System
It has features such as a new architecture, advanced security, full-scenario connectivity, and cross-generational leading parking capabilities.
The core recognition and perception capabilities of the intelligent driving system, Qiankun ADS 3.0 has been upgraded from the BEV network to the GOD network, which means that it no longer distinguishes between whitelist objects. Through fusion perception, it truly understands all target obstacles and scenes like a human, and realizes an intelligent driving experience that allows you to drive as long as there is a road.
At the same time, the omnidirectional collision avoidance system (CAS) equipped with ADS 3.0 has also been upgraded to CAS 2.0. In the AEB intelligent driving comparison test, the M9 equipped with the CAS 2.0 omnidirectional collision avoidance system is ahead of the compared models in scenarios such as pedestrians crossing, encountering pedestrians when turning left, and looking into electric vehicles.
In parking scenarios, ADS 3.0 supports full-scenario parking, including special-shaped, diagonal, customized, etc. Parking can be done as long as the parking space is visible, and the parking speed is 20% faster than that of experienced drivers.
In addition, it also supports the leave-and-go parking mode. After selecting the destination parking space, you can get off the car and leave, and the vehicle can drive itself into the parking space.
2. High-precision 4D millimeter-wave radar
As the core sensor of the intelligent driving system, Huawei has released a high-precision 4D millimeter-wave radar, which uses waveguide antennas, 4T4R and ultra-wideband to comprehensively improve target detection and environmental modeling capabilities.
See farther on highways and urban expressways (detection distance increased by 35%), see more accurately when driving in mixed traffic in urban areas and parking (accuracy increased by 4 times), and react faster (delay reduced by 65%) in scenarios such as sudden braking of the vehicle in front, starting after the vehicle in front, and ghost peeking out.
3. The new generation of Huawei Hongmeng cockpit HarmonySpace
The new generation of Hongmeng cockpit has three major performance features: smart car machine, smart audio, and smart display.
The large model of Qianwu is installed in the Hongmeng cockpit. Its Qianwu visual function can achieve millimeter-level precise perception in the cabin and adaptive adjustment of the main driver, including rearview mirrors, steering wheels, HUD height, etc.
At the same time, Qianwu Vision supports skeleton-level human perception in the entire cabin and multi-modal fusion vehicle control. The sunshades, doors, air-conditioning direction, etc. can be controlled by waving your hands, creating a new level of in-car somatosensory interaction.
In terms of sound, Huawei launched the Qiankun Speaker UItimate extraordinary series, with original intelligent sound quality, supporting sound following picture, AI spatial sound, turbo subwoofer, etc., leading intelligent atmosphere, supporting AI sound and light synchronization technology, and atmosphere light field.
In terms of intelligent control of the vehicle body and chassis, Huawei launched the XMOTION 2.0 body motion system control and iDVP 2.0 intelligent vehicle digital platform.
4. XMOTION 2.0 body motion system control
The system can achieve greater safety, easier control and greater comfort through multi-dimensional coordination and 6D full-posture control of the vehicle body, using multi-sensor fusion, millisecond-level perception, centimeter-level motion estimation, and dual feedforward + feedback active pre-control.
In addition, the system has tire blowout stability control, supporting a maximum speed of 120km/h, which can suppress the risk of instability in the tire blowout room during high-speed straight driving and turning; high-speed obstacle avoidance stability control, with the moose test result exceeding 84km/h, and the actual measured Zhijie S7 has reached 83km/h; adaptive slip collaborative control, which can prevent the vehicle from slipping, pushing its head or swinging its tail on slippery roads.
The system can also handle complex road conditions with ease, turning a novice into an experienced driver in seconds, including narrow road turning, the waltz U-turn function reduces the turning diameter by 30%, and can pass through two lanes in one go; crab parking, the lateral movement consistency error is less than 5 cm, and parallel parking in a narrow parking space can be parked in one go.
5. iDVP 2.0 Intelligent Vehicle Digital Platform
This platform is the world's first five-in-one vehicle control module launched by Huawei. The module integrates MCU (microcontroller unit) + MPU (microprocessor) + LSW (limit switch) + PHY (Ethernet chip) + IO, which can improve the vehicle control performance by 4 times and reduce the latency by 5 times.
Huawei has currently collaborated with more than 100 software and hardware partners to introduce more than 800 standard APIs, which will be used in more than 10 car models this year.
In the field of vehicle cloud services, Huawei released Qiankun Vehicle Cloud Service 3.0 and Qiankun "Yunque" large model solution.
6. Large model of Qiankun "Cloud Magpie"
As the name suggests, the "Yunmai" model, which means Bian Que on the cloud, can provide vehicles with full-process automatic intelligent diagnostic functions.
The "Yunmai" large model has TB-level fault diagnosis corpus, 400+ special diagnosis algorithms, and 4000+ signals collected in seconds. Users can ask questions and get answers immediately, and the entire process automatically performs diagnostic detection actions.
In actual use, the remote diagnosis and positioning rate of core components can reach 90%, and software problems can be remotely diagnosed and repaired without the user having to drive into the store, making after-sales maintenance quite convenient.
7. Qiankun Car Cloud Service 3.0
Provide users with full life cycle experience and services. Among them, Digital Key Cloud Service 3.0 is the first mobile key technology in China to support Star Flash technology. It can be used even when the mobile phone has no network or power. It has decimeter-level positioning, which is 5 times more accurate than Bluetooth.
The Qiankun Cloud View function allows you to remotely use your mobile phone to check the situation around the parking space. In scenarios such as forgetting your parking space, being worried about being stuck before going out, or receiving a sentry alarm, remotely checking the real-time situation of the vehicle will make you feel more at ease.
In the field of light and shadow, Huawei can be regarded as an artistic master among car companies. This time, it launched three new products: Qiankun XHUD 2.0 head-up display, XPIXEL megapixel smart headlights, and XSCENE light field screen.
8. Qiankun XHUD 2.0 Head-up Display
Equipped with self-developed automotive-grade LCoS chip, self-developed automotive-grade imaging module, and AR composition engine, it has the industry's highest brightness of 15000nit and the industry's highest contrast ratio of 2500:1.
Even facing the strong light field of the sun, XHUD can clearly display the projected image; in dark environments such as tunnels, there are no light windows to block the image.
In the AR navigation scenario, roadsides and roadside scenes are accurately marked, target stickers follow the moving blocks, and even bumpy roads can be displayed steadily without glare, which constitutes a dimensionality reduction attack on most AR-HUDs in the industry.
9. Qiankun XPIXEL Megapixel Smart Headlight
Its predecessor is Huawei's megapixel smart headlights, which were first installed on the flagship SUV model M9;
But this time, the Qiankun XPIXEL P800 Pro has evolved again, with 1.3 million pixels and a luminous flux of up to 2000lm. The lighting effect is very strong. At the same time, the headlights are also equipped with high-precision ADB, the shading area is minimized, and the high beam utilization rate exceeds 90%, which can achieve precise shading and the high beam does not disturb people.
In addition, this car light can realize intelligent interaction and has richer scene innovations. The width indicator light blanket makes it safer for users to drive on narrow roads. It also supports DIY projection, outdoor KTV and giant screen projection, so that projection can be done as long as there is a car, without the need for a projector.
