Recently, Xihua Technology announced that its automotive-grade capacitive touch CVM012x series MCU is officially on the market.

As the first domestically produced true automotive-grade single-chip solution that can realize HoD applications, this series of products inherits the Xihua CVM01 platform that has been mass-produced, integrating the ARM Cortex-M0+ core, large-capacity Flash memory, SRAM memory and rich peripheral resources.
At the same time, the CVM012x series of automotive MCUs integrates high-performance capacitance detection IP, adopts Xihua's original patented capacitance detection technology, has extremely high capacitance detection accuracy, self-interconnected capacitance detection technology, supports up to 2nF load capacitance, 30ch self-capacitance channel and 15 x 15ch mutual capacitance channel, and supports Active Shielding technology to better support touch waterproof performance. The CVM012x series supports multiple packages and multiple Flash configurations, and has a rich product matrix to meet the actual needs of customers' products. The product meets the reliability AEC-Q100 Grade 2 and can support automotive applications of ISO 26262 ASIL-B functional safety standards.

At present, the touch buttons and gesture recognition in the interactive modes such as cockpit domain controller, central control entertainment, steering wheel HoD, tailgate kick sensor, etc. show the intelligent trend of biometric recognition, and the market potential is huge. The CVM012x series of automotive-grade capacitive touch MCUs provide two packages, LQFP48 and QFN32, with more than 8 models to choose from, which can better meet the various application requirements of smart cockpit and smart driving.
