On October 10, the "Intelligent New Path, Born from Craftsmanship" 2023 NavInfo User Conference
Automotive Electronics
Chips
Theme
Forum
was successfully held in Shanghai. At the meeting, NavInfo's Jiefa Technology announced the launch of the first
multi-core high-frequency
MCU
based on the
Arm
Cortex R52 core that
meets functional safety ASIL-D
-
AC
7870x. The release of AC7870x will officially start Jiefa Technology's layout in the field of high-end automotive-grade MCUs, and will strongly promote
the innovation and development of
intelligent
automotive electronics and
electrical
architectures, and enhance the competitiveness of independent automotive chips in the global automotive electronics market.
The AC7870x series of chips uses a multi-core Arm Cortex
R52
core with a main frequency of up to 350MHz, which can support lock-step cores and hypervisors, improve the system's redundancy and fault tolerance, reduce the impact of failures, and ensure stable system operation. In terms of functional safety, AC7870x has reached the highest level of ISO 26262 ASIL-D for the first time, which can meet the ASIL level requirements of automotive core ECUs and ensure the safety and reliability of automotive
electronic
applications in extremely complex and high-risk scenarios. At the same time, the chip meets the requirements of AEC-Q100 Grade 1 and has an operating temperature range of -40~125℃.
Common ECU ASIL level requirements
AC7870x can provide high-level information security solutions. The chip has a built-in HSM module that complies with the international Evita Full standard. At the same time, it supports the national encryption SM2/3/4 algorithm and can provide users with information security firmware that complies with ISO 21434. It meets the high-level information security requirements at home and abroad and fully guarantees the security of data transmission and storage.
Information security requirements of common ECUs
AC7870x has built-in Flash storage of more than 10MB, supports silent upgrade without any sense, has a pin count of up to 320, has rich peripheral
interface
resources, and can provide two packages of BGA320 and LQFP176, and 8 chip models. In terms of software ecology, AC7870x supports mainstream AUTOSAR ecological partners, including PwC, Neusoft Reach, Hirain, Vector, EB, ETAS, etc., and provides MCAL and supporting configuration tools that meet the functional safety ASIL-D level, providing users with a convenient and efficient development experience.
AC7870x is available in two packages and eight
Product
Models
With its high performance, high safety and reliability, and rich resources, AC7870x can be widely used in power chassis domains,
new energy
three-electric, and regional
controllers
under a new electronic and electrical architecture, which have the highest requirements for functional safety levels. As
the latest
high-end MCU product
independently developed by Jiefa Technology
, AC7870x has improved the junior, middle and high-end layout of Jiefa Technology's MCU product line. At the same time, it will bring new high-end MCU solutions to the smart car industry and enhance the competitiveness of domestic automotive chips in the global automotive electronics market.
Li Wenxiong, Chief Technology Officer of Jiefa Technology
Li Wenxiong, Chief Technology Officer of Jiefa Technology, said that AC7870x is Jiefa Technology's first attempt in the field of high-end automotive-grade MCUs. Its release marks a new and important breakthrough in NavInfo's strategic layout in the field of automotive chips. As a leader of domestic automotive MCU
manufacturers
, Jiefa Technology has not only launched the first domestic automotive-grade 32-bit MCU, but we have the responsibility and obligation to layout and develop chips in the high-end field. In this great wave of smart car development, Jiefa Technology will continue to increase R&D investment, continue to innovate, embrace new technologies, and provide better products and services for the global automotive electronics industry.
AC7870x is expected to be launched in 2024. For technical consultation, please contact support@autochips.com.
