MPQ4228-C supports BC1.2 CDP mode and USB Type-C 5V @ 3A DFP mode. It is packaged in QFN-22 (4mmx4mm) and is compact.

MPQ4228-C has comprehensive protection, including current limit with hiccup protection mode (supports MFI OCP), output overvoltage protection (OVP), USB_OUT/DP/DM/CC1/CC2 short battery protection and over-temperature shutdown protection.
★The efficiency of the MPQ4228 DC-DC converter is quite high, with a peak efficiency of up to 94.4% and a full load temperature rise of only 31°C. The considerable high efficiency allows the chip to generate very little heat, which can reduce heat dissipation design and make the product more compact.

Under the condition that the HOST data passes through the MPQ4228-C internal DP/DM data switch, a 150cm cable can also have good eye diagram performance.

In addition, the MPQ4228-C family also includes MPQ4228-C-C07J that supports USB3.0 Type-C polarity indication, MPQ4228 that supports DCP, and MPQ4228-Q that adds QC3.0 based on MPQ4228.
