Urban public services are the best scenario for autonomous driving. The "unmanned operation" brought by autonomous driving can reduce costs and increase efficiency for cities, generate additional profits, and form a commercial closed loop. In the future, it can also be gradually extended to the freight, rental and even passenger car markets. For example, "unmanned operation" in sanitation scenarios can effectively improve safety and reduce operational risks. At the same time, a small sanitation robot can complete the workload of 3-5 workers and can work 20 hours a day, and basically recover the cost in 1-2 years. In addition to sanitation scenarios, many scenarios in parks, scenic spots, airports, and ports can achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement through "unmanned operation" of autonomous driving.


At present, Mushroom Car Alliance has been implemented in Beijing, Jiangsu, Hunan, Henan, Sichuan, Yunnan and other cities, and is used in urban open roads, parks, scenic spots, ports, airports and other scenarios.

In 2019, Mushroom Auto Union implemented the country's first open 5G vehicle-road collaborative demonstration road in Beijing. In 2021, Mushroom Auto Union implemented the country's first city-level autonomous driving project in Hengyang, Hunan, with a total project amount of 500 million yuan and a total design mileage of 200 kilometers. Mushroom Auto Union implemented road intelligent upgrades for Hengyang's main roads. Currently, the first phase has been implemented, and autonomous buses, taxis, street sweepers, patrol cars and other urban public service vehicles have been put into trial operation in batches.


In January 2022, Mushroom Auto Union established the first "intelligent networking + smart tourism" autonomous driving ecological demonstration zone in Southwest China in Dali, Yunnan, and upgraded the new vehicle-road collaborative infrastructure of the entire section of the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor (136 kilometers). During the construction period, autonomous driving tourist sightseeing vehicles, shuttle buses, garbage sanitation trucks, patrol vehicles, etc. were successively put into use, with a total project amount of 1 billion yuan; then from July to August, Mushroom Auto Union successively signed strategic cooperation agreements on vehicle-road-cloud integration with Sichuan Tianfu New Area, Wuxi Liangxi District, and Beijing Tongzhou, with project amounts of 3 billion yuan, 2 billion yuan, and 1.6 billion yuan, respectively, to help optimize urban transportation systems and industrial upgrading, and build a safe, efficient, convenient, and low-carbon smart city lifestyle.


Finally, Mushroom Auto Union hopes that all parties in the industry will work together to achieve win-win results and accelerate the large-scale implementation of autonomous driving.
