On July 19, Toposens, a high-tech startup in Munich, Germany, announced the launch of its first commercial Toposens 3D ultrasonic anti-collision sensor ECHO ONE® for mobile robots. The sensor is based on Toposens' proprietary 3D ultrasonic echolocation technology and is an important milestone after more than seven years of research and development and product commercialization.

To meet the need for higher safety for mobile robots in industrial environments, the Toposens 3D ultrasonic echolocation sensor ECHO ONE® and the Toposens processing unit with precision filters for 3D collision avoidance are now available and have passed real industrial scenario commercialization tests in cooperation with well-known mobile robot companies.
