Wind River, a leading global provider of mission-critical intelligent system software, recently announced a strategic partnership with Hyundai Mobis and Hyundai AutoEver, the world's largest automotive technology innovator, to develop automotive software frameworks and continuous testing, automated capability testing, and advanced software lifecycle management based on Wind River Studio.

The automotive industry is undergoing its most significant transformation in more than 100 years. According to a Forbes study, automotive industry leaders believe that up to 30% of revenue growth opportunities over the next five years will be centered around intelligent systems approaches, and many core requirements across the industry must be prepared in advance.


Wind River's collaboration with Hyundai Mobis and the entire Hyundai Group will leverage the expertise and experience of each company to develop a best-in-class software infrastructure for the next generation of connected cars. The partners will work closely together to accelerate the development and delivery of the entire automotive system, including advancing continuous testing capabilities and test automation in simulated and real hardware-based environments, while leveraging virtual device management to enable new customized infrastructure testing.


Hyundai's AutoEver team will play a key role in collaborating with Wind River to build a software integrated development environment platform and a virtual verification platform.
