WPG Holdings announced that its subsidiary WPI has launched a frequency-hopping PKE/RKE keyless vehicle access system solution based on NXP products.
Keyless vehicle access control systems have completely changed the development prospects of automotive security applications, bringing users a new experience of comfort and convenience. The global keyless vehicle access control system market is expected to reach US$7.52 billion in 2022 at a compound annual growth rate of 6.06% from US$5.28 billion in 2016. At present, this technology has gradually entered the mid-range car market from the high-end car market, and the future market potential is huge.

There are two main types of keyless vehicle access control system products: Passive Keyless Entry System (PKES) and Remote Keyless Entry System (RKES). The keyless entry system solution launched by WPG World Peace is based on the NXP S9KEAZ128, NXP NCF29A1, NXP NJJ29C0 and NXP NCK2912 series products, integrating the functions of IMMO, RKE and PKE, with high integration and low power consumption.

Core technology advantages
Integrated IMMO function to support low-frequency encrypted communication;
PKE function, supporting keyless entry and one-button start of the vehicle;
RKE function, which can remotely control the doors, windows and trunk;
The key can be located by RSSI;
Support RF frequency hopping communication.
Solution Specifications
Frequency hopping RF transmission and reception, strong anti-interference ability;
The key is usually in dormant state and is awakened only when needed, with standby power consumption as low as 5uA;
Low-frequency and high-frequency integrated MCU, flexible configuration;
The maximum low-frequency communication distance can reach 2.5 meters.
