What kind of LCD is better? [Copy link]

I am currently developing a product and would like to find an LCD.

The monochrome 128x64 LCD is a little small and not enough. The larger 320x240x is a little too expensive. 128x64=¥20.00 320x240=¥180.00

The 5-inch color LCD has too high requirements for the product microcontroller. It is really difficult to choose.

What suggestions do you have for choosing LCD displays?

If you use Ruiyou's RA8873 for a 5-inch (800*480) color screen, there is no requirement for the MCU; a low-speed MCU can also produce cool animation cutting effects, and the cost is not high. For example, a 4.3-inch (480*272) screen can also use RA8871, which will be even cheaper!   Details Published on 2020-12-16 17:10

Cost is only one aspect. Brightness, temperature and humidity range, power consumption, and life span must also be considered.

It’s hard to say, but it’s worth the extra cost if the user experience is better, so don’t worry too much about the cost.

The main reason is that the price is too high. The price of 128x64 to 320x240 is 6 times higher. I can't stand it. Why doesn't the industry produce some larger OLED screens? The market mainly has the small 0.96-inch serial port screens. I don't know what the OLED manufacturers think. Is there no market? I don't think so!

You can first think about the budget you can accept, and then find a relatively suitable one within this budget. Think about which factors you think are more important to you.
