CES Asia 2019 came to a successful conclusion on June 13. In this exhibition, the weight of automotive technology continued to increase. As one of the five major themes of the exhibition, automobiles attracted a lot of media attention. The scale of its technology exhibition area reached a new high, with two independent exhibition halls and an outdoor display area. The on-site display included concept cars, smart connected cars, autonomous driving technology, all-electric technology and other content.
Focus 1
Autonomous driving is accelerating
Autonomous driving technology is one of the hot topics at CES, with the L3 level of autonomous driving, autonomous minibuses, and commercial vehicle autonomous driving, which are expected to be available in the near future, becoming the highlights of this year.
Desay SV:
Smart car life based on L3 driving scenarios
Desay SV took "Intelligently Understanding You" as its exhibition theme this time, and brought an overall intelligent and networked solution, covering the latest scientific and technological achievements of the three major product groups: smart cockpit, smart driving, and Internet of Vehicles.
Inceptio Technology:
Next-generation technology helps commercialize truck autonomous driving
As the application of autonomous driving technology accelerates, Inceptio Technology brought its L3 autonomous driving prototype vehicle, Inceptio 1, to the exhibition, and released a new generation of autonomous driving technology for trucks and transportation services.
Focus 2
5G starts commercialization
It will take some time for the automotive industry to mass produce applications
The year 2019 is hailed by the industry as the first year of 5G commercialization. As a revolutionary iteration of general underlying communication technology, 5G technology has taken the lead in starting a commercialization model in the life service industry. However, as a core technology for the development of automotive networking and automation, it is still in the conceptual product stage, and mass production applications are expected to be after 2020.
SAIC:
"Wonderful Ideas" for Future Travel Life
SAIC Group brought 5G innovative technologies as well as related exhibits such as smart driving experience cabins, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, and personalized smart car manufacturing platforms to this exhibition, demonstrating SAIC Group's bold exploration in the fields of electrification, intelligence, and networking.
Great Wall:
CES Asia debut, showing technical strength in many aspects
Great Wall exhibited three intelligent connected vehicles for the first time. In terms of technology, it brought smart pixel headlights, on-board health detection systems, smart cockpits and other "black technology" equipment closely related to safe car travel, demonstrating Great Wall's exploration of future vehicle technology.
Focus 3
Intelligent networking enters a new stage of development
The popularity of intelligent connected vehicles continues to rise. Technology companies and suppliers are moving forward steadily based on their own strength. Traditional car companies are also unwilling to lag behind and have formed their own "direct troops" to expand their territory. The industry has also released the country's first intelligent connected vehicle information security-related document - "Technical Specifications for Information Security Evaluation and Testing of Intelligent Connected Vehicles", to guide the development direction for entrants.
Skyrim:
Release of "Smart Cloud" car-connected ecosystem
At this year's CES Asia, emerging car manufacturer Skywell Auto exhibited its first mass-produced car ME7, and teamed up with Internet of Vehicles partners such as Desay SV, China Mobile Intelligent Driving, AutoNavi, and ThunderSoft to initiate the establishment of the "Smart Cloud" Internet of Vehicles ecosystem to create a more intelligent interactive system for users.
mainland:
Focus on intelligent connected vehicles and smart cities
Intelligent connected vehicles and smart cities are current industry hotspots. During the exhibition, Continental showcased its corresponding solutions and key technologies around the theme of "Smart Mobility, Powering Future Smart Cities".
Focus 4
Car companies start new exploration of smart travel experience
With the development of AR technology, intelligent interaction has been further deepened, and intelligent interaction functions have gradually become one of the important factors that consumers consider when buying a car. At this exhibition, many manufacturers launched more concrete human-vehicle interaction experience products based on AR technology, which further upgraded the car driving experience.
Audi:
Create the ultimate driving experience
Audi's new generation of in-car connectivity technology is developed based on the Android system and is Audi's first open ecosystem. It can achieve the interconnection of all things in human and car life through rapid iteration; Audi's technology company Holoride uses VR technology to further deepen the vehicle driving experience and enrich car life.
Kia:
Imagine the era of autonomous driving and smart travel
Kia's new concept car Habaniro was launched in China for the first time. The new car is positioned as a crossover pure electric model and is equipped with L5-level autonomous driving technology. Based on the fully autonomous driving scenario, Kia launched a new technology real-time emotional adaptive driving system to interpret the smart travel life of automobiles in the future era of autonomous driving.
