At the 12th Beijing International Auto Show, Bosch, a leading global supplier of automotive technology and services, will appear at booth E4 and E409, showcasing integrated automotive technology solutions centered around the theme of "Clean and Economic, Safe and Comfortable," covering its gasoline systems, diesel systems, chassis control systems, starters and generators, automotive electronics, automotive multimedia, electronic drives, automotive aftermarket and many other business areas.

Clean and economical

Electric-axle-crank hybrid system - Bosch's electric-axle-crank diesel hybrid system has been equipped in the world's first mass-produced diesel hybrid model - Peugeot 3008 Hybrid 4. The core components of the electric drive system provided by Bosch include a split motor and a dual-motor controller. The hybrid system consists of a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine and an electric drive system, with a maximum output power of 147 kilowatts; it combines the dual energy-saving advantages of modern diesel technology and electric motor technology. Compared with similar diesel models with the same power output, the system can reduce fuel consumption by an additional 35%: only 3.8 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers, and 99 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometer. The excellent energy-saving and environmental protection performance has earned the Peugeot 3008 Hybrid 4 the industry's authoritative award "Green Steering Wheel" award.

Parallel gasoline hybrid system - Bosch provides core components such as Motronic control unit, coaxial motor, single motor controller and self-adjusting clutch for the parallel hybrid system equipped in the two gasoline hybrid mass-produced models of Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid and Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid. Driven by the 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine and the electric motor, these two models achieve a good balance between power and environmental protection: while maintaining excellent power, the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is only 8.2 liters. The innovative energy-saving and emission-reduction technology enables it to reduce fuel consumption by an additional 40% compared with the V8 gasoline engine with the same output power, and achieve the Euro V emission standard.

Turbocharger - The turbocharger exhibited this time is produced by Bosch-Mahle Turbo Systems Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by Bosch and Mahle. As a key technology for continuously reducing fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions, this product improves combustion efficiency and reduces carbon dioxide emissions through exhaust gas turbocharging technology. It has been successfully applied to gasoline and diesel engines, complementing gasoline direct injection technology and diesel common rail technology, helping to achieve engine miniaturization and achieve better energy saving and emission reduction effects.

Commercial vehicle exhaust after-treatment system Denoxtronic 6.5 - Commercial vehicle exhaust after-treatment system Denoxtronic 6.5 is a clean diesel technology developed by Bosch for emerging markets such as China and India. It can help vehicles achieve the National IV emission standard for diesel vehicles to be implemented in July 2013 at a low cost. The system reduces the emission of nitrogen oxides and particulate matter in vehicle exhaust through selective oxidation reduction (SCR) technology. The new generation of products achieves better emission performance through the application of the newly developed Bosch nitrogen oxide sensor, with a service life of 600,000 kilometers, and will be put into production in China this year.

Start/Stop System - Bosch's Start/Stop System is a cost-effective solution for energy conservation and emission reduction. When the vehicle stops briefly during driving, the system can automatically shut down the engine to reduce fuel consumption; when the vehicle is started again, the fuel consumption of hot start is only equivalent to the fuel consumption of idling for 0.7 seconds. In the EFCE15 test cycle, the Start/Stop System can reduce fuel consumption by about 8% in the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) urban test session, and up to 15% in actual urban traffic.

Safety

Driver Assistance System - The system monitors the surrounding conditions of the vehicle through radar sensors, video systems, ultrasonic sensors, etc., and provides the processed information to the driver, making the driving process safer and more comfortable. For example, the predictive emergency braking system and adaptive cruise control system can automatically control the set distance from the vehicle in front and provide assistance to the driver in emergency situations where safety measures need to be taken quickly. The detection distance of the medium-range radar sensor is up to 160 meters and the detection angle is 45 degrees; the detection distance of the third-generation long-range radar sensor is up to 250 meters and the detection angle is 30 degrees. The volume is nearly 60% smaller than the first-generation product, and the silicon germanium technology used for the first time has also greatly achieved cost optimization. The multi-function camera accurately detects and generates the driving image in front of the vehicle, and recognizes traffic signals and routes. Bosch driver assistance system will be applied to mass-produced models of domestic independent brands.

Ninth Generation Motorcycle ABS - In China, traffic accidents caused by motorcycle driving account for 1/4 of road traffic. Bosch Motorcycle ABS, which is committed to improving the active safety of motorcycles, is an active safety technology specially developed for motorcycles. It can effectively prevent motorcycle wheels from locking, significantly reduce the risk of rollover and shorten the braking distance. The volume and weight of the basic model of the ninth generation motorcycle ABS are only 50% of the previous generation of products. The basic model weighs only 700 grams, which is the smallest and lightest anti-lock braking system for motorcycles. In recognition of its contribution to improving road safety, the German ADAC Automobile Club, the largest automobile club in Europe, awarded Bosch's ninth generation motorcycle ABS the "Yellow Angel" award.

Comfort

Human-machine interaction interface developed specifically for Chinese users - With the continuous development of intelligent automobile technology, the number of system prompts and information that drivers need to deal with during driving is increasing, which puts higher requirements on the reliability, clarity and operability of the human-machine interaction interface between drivers and cars. Bosch has cooperated with domestic universities and design companies, combined with Chinese aesthetic concepts, and developed a human-machine interaction interface specifically for Chinese consumers, integrating driving, entertainment, and communication functions to provide a driving experience that combines convenience and intelligence.

Side View System - Based on mature ultrasonic technology, Bosch has successfully integrated the side view system on the platform of the intelligent parking assistance system. The system can monitor the situation on both sides of the vehicle body and the diagonal blind spot of up to 4 meters behind the vehicle at a speed of 5 km/h to 180 km/h, and feedback to the driver through display on the rearview mirror. If the system recognizes that the driver intends to turn, the system will promptly sound an alarm to help avoid collisions with vehicles in adjacent lanes when changing lanes. The ultrasonic modular platform can also further integrate advanced auxiliary functions such as the side distance warning system.
