Recently, the source-grid-load-storage coordinated control system of Xuwei New District was put into operation.
As one of the first batch of demonstration enterprises of incremental distribution network in China, Donggang Energy Company actively promotes the construction of new power system and explores the construction of green and low-carbon new energy system. In April this year, it started the construction of source-grid-load-storage coordinated control system, so as to comprehensively monitor and control the power supply, grid, load (user) and energy storage of incremental distribution network. As of the end of August, the maximum daily load of incremental distribution network in Xuwei New District has exceeded 1.1 million kilowatts, the photovoltaic power generation is 481 million kilowatt-hours, and the 48MW/96MWh energy storage power station was fully connected to the grid and put into operation in July. The construction of new power system of "source-grid-load-storage integration" has taken shape.
It is understood that the system consists of four areas: centralized display function, business support function, data collection and monitoring function, and model and data management function. Through comprehensive analysis of the current photovoltaic output, energy storage controllable status, load management, and photovoltaic power forecast, combined with system balance constraints, network constraints, and energy storage characteristic constraints, the decision of the control dispatching master station is controlled, and energy storage charging and discharging plans are formulated in advance to achieve optimal energy configuration and efficient use of new energy, thereby improving overall energy utilization efficiency.
In order to actively explore the construction of a new power system and a new energy system with coordinated development of digitalization and greening, Donggang Energy Company uses the incremental distribution network information system as a carrier to coordinate digital connection, real-time collection, precise analysis, intelligent regulation, and comprehensive visualization processes to run through all aspects of source, grid, load, and storage, efficiently coordinate power sources, power grids, loads, and energy storage, and effectively solve the problems of randomness, volatility, intermittency, and power prediction of new energy, providing technical support and guarantee for the steady and in-depth construction of a new energy system.
The official launch of the system not only realizes peak power generation and valley load absorption, improving the overall efficiency of the system, but also can coordinate grid-connected power regulation to meet peak summer load management needs, greatly improving energy and power security capabilities. It is another phased achievement in the construction of a new power system in Xuwei New District.
