Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 115,000 kW/460,000 kW-hour independent new energy storage construction projects in Bole City, Xinjiang, and 35,000 kW/140,000 kW-hour independent new energy storage construction projects in Alashankou City, Xinjiang (hereinafter referred to as the Xinjiang Bole City and Alashankou City independent new energy storage construction projects), undertaken by China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau, was held.

Qiu Jingbo, member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy mayor of Bole Municipal People's Government of Xinjiang, Wang Lujian, deputy director of the Commerce Bureau of Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Luo Yunhua, deputy director of the Prefecture Development and Reform Commission, Zhang Tao, chairman of Zhejiang Carson Industrial Group Co., Ltd., Li Liangliang, general manager of Bole Green Energy Zhonghe New Energy Co., Ltd., Zhang Dawei, secretary of the Party Branch of the Fifth Institute of Tianjin Municipal Engineering Design Institute, and Zhao Haifeng, secretary of the Party Branch and general manager of the Infrastructure Branch of China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau North China Company, attended the ceremony.

Qiu Jingbo said that in recent years, Bole City has actively responded to the national policy call for the development of new energy, and based on the principle of coordinated development of traditional energy and new energy, it has developed a circular economy and built a conservation-oriented society. The project is the first energy storage project in Bole City. After completion, it will provide peak load regulation, frequency regulation, demand response support and other services for the operation of the power grid, improve the safety and stability of the Bole City power grid and the quality of power supply, and is of great significance to improving the energy consumption capacity of the power grid and achieving the "dual carbon" goal. The Bole Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government will strengthen exchanges and cooperation with various units, focus on the entire life cycle of production, do a solid job in service guarantee, and take practical actions to create the best external environment for project construction and development, so as to promote the early commissioning and early results of the project.

Zhang Tao said that the independent new energy storage construction projects in Bole and Alashankou are important projects in the new energy field of the two cities. Their construction and implementation can not only effectively promote the optimization and upgrading of the regional energy structure and accelerate the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, but also drive the development of the industrial chain and help rural revitalization and the comprehensive development of the economy and society. The independent new energy storage construction projects in Bole and Alashankou in Xinjiang include planning and layout, energy storage systems, primary and secondary electrical systems, thermal control, communications, water supply and drainage, fire protection, heating and ventilation, air conditioning, civil engineering, etc. After completion, it will improve the power energy structure of the two cities, ease the contradiction between regional power supply and demand, promote economic and social development, build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system for the country, further ensure energy security, and contribute to the implementation of the "dual carbon" strategy.
