Recently, two group standards, "Vanadium Oxide for Vanadium Batteries" and "Ammonium Metavanadate for Vanadium Battery Electrolyte", successfully passed the standard review organized by the China Iron and Steel Association and were rated as internationally advanced levels.
These two group standards were led by Vanadium Titanium Co., Ltd. and jointly compiled by key domestic vanadium production enterprises such as Chengde Vanadium Titanium and Shaanxi Wuzhou Mining, typical downstream users such as Dalian Rongke, Dali Energy Storage, and Hunan Yinfeng, research and development and testing units such as Chengdu Advanced Metal Materials Institute, as well as China Iron and Steel Association Vanadium Branch, Metallurgical Industry Economic Development Research Center and other units.
Through the formulation of the two group standards, the quality and inspection standards of vanadium oxide used in vanadium batteries are standardized, the connection between the production and user ends is strengthened, the quality control requirements are specified, and the healthy and orderly development of the vanadium battery energy storage industry is promoted. It is of great significance to the efficient utilization of my country's vanadium resources and the development and innovation of the vanadium battery energy storage industry.
The two group standards are expected to be released this year.
