Once established, Conch Ronghua Company entered a stage of rapid development in terms of resource integration and market development. At the end of December 2022, it built the largest user-side all-vanadium liquid flow battery energy storage power station in China and the first all-vanadium liquid flow battery energy storage power station in the chemical park at Conch Cement Plant in Zongyang and Ningbo Zhenhai Chemical Park. It set a safety benchmark for the subsequent user-side all-vanadium liquid flow battery energy storage projects and chemical park energy storage projects, and played a demonstration role.

Hefei Harbin Institute of Technology Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. is a new technology enterprise specializing in the research and development, production, sales and service of energy storage equipment such as liquid flow battery control and power energy storage system energy management. The company has more than 30 intellectual property rights, and the technical team has won 3 scientific and technological progress awards. The company's products include all-vanadium liquid flow battery BMS, iron-chromium liquid flow battery BMS, and energy storage system energy management EMS; 5KW30KWh energy storage system, 60KW240KWh energy storage system, 1000MW4000MWh energy storage system.

The company focuses on energy storage technology and products in the industrial and commercial fields, and cooperates with Hefei University of Technology and Anhui Jianzhu University to carry out continuous innovation in industry-university-research cooperation. The R&D team has won the second prize of provincial scientific and technological progress twice and published a monograph on flow batteries. The award-winning products are used in Shandong, Changchun, Shanxi, Guizhou, Zhejiang, Taiwan, Austria, etc.

New Vanadium Titanium Energy Storage

Chengde Xinxin Vanadium Titanium Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. was established in July 2015 (formerly known as the Wanlitong Group Vanadium Battery Project Department) with a registered capital of RMB 100 million. It is committed to the research and development, production and operation of vanadium batteries and has been deeply involved in the industry for 17 years. Since 2006, relying on the "Special Vanadium Workshop", it has developed and produced electrolytes and established the "Wanlitong Group Vanadium Battery Project Department". In 2009, it began to cooperate with Dr. Maria, the inventor of vanadium batteries, the University of New South Wales, and Tsinghua University to conduct research and development in key technologies and core materials of liquid flow batteries. It has bipolar plates, electrolytes, proton exchange membranes and other preparation technologies, battery stack structure and assembly proprietary technologies, system integration design and other technologies. Up to now, our company has obtained 15 patents, including 12 invention patents.

The company has undertaken the national "863 Plan" project, is an implementing unit of the "National International Science and Technology Cooperation Plan" and the "National Science and Technology Support Plan", participated in the Zhangbei Wind, Solar, Storage and Transmission Demonstration Project, and is a member of the National Flow Battery Standard Technical Committee. In 2023, it won the top ten global clean energy innovation solutions of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Global Call and the first place in the Hebei Province Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

In terms of the scale of liquid flow battery production lines, it has domestically advanced high-purity vanadium electrolyte production lines with an annual output of 33,000m³, vanadium battery-specific proton membrane production lines with an annual output of 30,000㎡, energy storage system production lines with an annual production capacity of 500MWh, and 5kW, 10kW, 15kW, 20kW, 45kW, and 75kW series specification stack manufacturing technologies.

In terms of implementation and application, the photovoltaic storage and charging integrated demonstration project (scale of 250kW/1MWh) jointly built by our company and Jibei Power Grid was put into operation in 2016. In 2018, we won the bid for the supporting energy storage power station project of Hebei Construction Investment Senjitu Wind Farm (scale of 3MW/12MWh), which was completed and connected to the grid in 2020. We actively cooperate with major central enterprises, and actively cooperate closely with Huaneng, China Resources, CGN, Datang, Three Gorges, China Power Construction and other companies to contribute our own strength to new energy.

On November 6, at the 6th China International Import Expo, Chengde Xinxin Vanadium Titanium Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. won the third prize in the new energy innovation track of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) 2023 Global Call for Solutions (Global Call 2023) with its "new energy solutions based on all-vanadium liquid flow batteries", and was selected as one of the top ten solutions in the world.

Super Vanadium Energy Storage

Hebei Super Vanadium Energy Storage Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Super Vanadium Energy Storage) was established on June 29, 2023. It is a state-owned enterprise supervised by the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and controlled by Hebei Geological and Mineral Group Co., Ltd. Hebei Geological and Mineral Group Co., Ltd. holds a 60% stake, Chengde Xinxin Vanadium Titanium Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. holds a 35% stake, and Fengning Manchu Autonomous County Dayuan Guokong Co., Ltd. holds a 5% stake. The registered capital is 54 million yuan. At present, Super Vanadium Energy Storage has mastered a number of key technologies such as the domestic leading proton membrane and plate frame production and manufacturing of all-vanadium liquid flow batteries. At the same time, the annual production capacity of 1GWh/(4h) all-vanadium liquid flow battery production line under construction is expected to be put into production and operation in early February 2024. The company insists on technological innovation as the basis, serving the society with reliable energy storage products, and promoting the realization of the "dual carbon" goal as the guide, creating a brand service provider with complete independent intellectual property rights, all-vanadium liquid flow battery full industrial chain development and high-end manufacturing capabilities.

1. Proton membrane

Product features: The proton membrane can separate the vanadium ions of different valence states in the positive and negative electrolytes, and allow the protons (hydrogen ions) in the electrolyte to pass through, avoiding the cross-discharge of vanadium ions of different valence states during charging and discharging, thereby reducing energy loss. It must have good electrical conductivity, vanadium resistance, stability, limited water permeability, good mechanical strength, good chemical corrosion resistance, high electrochemical oxidation resistance, and ensure a long cycle life. At the same time, the material price is more affordable and reasonable than other similar products abroad.

Advantages and production capacity:

1) The use of parafluorinated materials to make proton membranes avoids the high cost caused by the use of perfluorosulfonic acid membranes. It has strong stability in laboratory and project tests and greatly reduces the cost of fuel cell materials.

2) High vanadium resistance, stable performance, meeting the use functions of all-vanadium liquid flow batteries, and specifications are lower than mainstream products on the market;

2. All-vanadium liquid flow battery

Super Vanadium Energy Storage has built many intelligent production lines, including advanced vanadium battery automatic assembly production lines, plate and frame injection molding production lines, proton membrane production lines, parts prefabrication production lines, physical and chemical testing lines, integrated system testing lines, etc.

Continuous innovation in the production process, comprehensive optimization and upgrading of battery structure, sealing method, assembly process, etc., to ensure the safety, stability and efficiency of all-vanadium liquid flow batteries. And the comprehensive independent industrial application of key materials has been achieved.
