The founding conference of Shandong Energy Storage Society was held at Shandong University of Science and Technology

On November 17, the Shandong Energy Storage Society's founding conference and the first member conference were held at Shandong University of Science and Technology. Liu Xuejun, deputy director of the Shandong Provincial Energy Bureau, Zeng Qingtian, president of Shandong University of Science and Technology, Li Yibin, chairman of the Shandong Automation Society, and Li Ting, secretary general of the Shandong Electric Power Industry Association, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Wang Guofa, chief scientist of China Coal Technology and Engineering Group and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was invited to deliver a speech online. Yao Qingguo, former president of Shandong University of Science and Technology, attended the opening ceremony, which was hosted by Xue Qingzhong, vice president of Shandong University of Science and Technology.

Yao Qingguo was elected as the chairman of Shandong Energy Storage Society, and Lu Xiao, dean of the Energy Storage Technology College, was elected as the vice chairman and secretary general. Li Dawei, deputy general manager of Shandong Branch of China Three Gorges New Energy (Group) Co., Ltd., Zhang Duqing, deputy dean of the Electric Power Research Institute of State Grid Shandong Electric Power Company, Peng Ke, deputy dean of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Shandong University of Technology, Qin Wei, chairman and general manager of Shandong Electric Times Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Liu Wei, chairman of Shandong Feichuang Space-Time Energy Co., Ltd., and Zheng Xiaohao, general manager of Liquid Flow Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. were elected as vice chairmen.

After the meeting, Tang Xisheng, special consultant of the Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry Technology Alliance, gave a report entitled "Positioning and Development of Energy Storage under the New Power System", and Pei Shanpeng, senior general manager of Shandong Electric Power Co., Ltd. of State Power Investment Corporation and deputy director of the Provincial Energy Big Data Center, gave a report entitled "Shandong Energy Storage Policy System".
