Recently, Shaangu Power and China Energy Engineering Group signed an order contract for multiple sets of large compressor units and supporting and auxiliary system equipment for the "Gansu Jiuquan 300MW Compressed Air Energy Storage Power Station Demonstration Project" project, jointly promoting the high-quality development of the new energy and energy infrastructure industry with world-leading equipment and system solutions.
The 300MW compressed air energy storage power station demonstration project in Jiuquan, Gansu is the world's first 300MW artificial chamber compressed air energy storage project, which has solved the global problem of compressed air energy storage being restricted by geographical conditions, and is in a leading position in terms of technical routes, solutions and industrial ecology. After completion, this project will become the world's first 300MW compressed air energy storage power station demonstration project that uses artificial chamber gas storage. It will promote the coordinated development of other related industries, promote the coordinated operation of multiple energy sources, and realize the large-scale, industrialized and intensive development of new energy equipment manufacturing. It has important demonstration significance for building Jiuquan and Northwest Green Energy Industry Base and promoting the construction of my country's new power system.
