Yicheng City is located in the northwest of Hubei Province, in the middle reaches of the Han River, and is under the jurisdiction of Xiangyang City. In the Yicheng Economic Development Zone of Xiangyang City, the most eye-catching thing is the textile enterprises lined up along the street. Many textile and garment industrial enterprises above a certain scale gather here, with a spinning capacity of over 500,000 spindles. Yicheng Tianshu Textile Co., Ltd., which enjoys the reputation of "the first yarn in Hubei", is located here.
Affected by the epidemic and international market fluctuations, Tianshu Textile's development was once sluggish. Faced with difficulties, the company chose to go against the trend and actively upgraded and built distributed photovoltaic power stations, making it shine again.
The project was constructed by Hubei Century Yuyang New Energy Co., Ltd., an authorized distributor of Canadian Solar, using Canadian Solar Sungarden high-efficiency photovoltaic modules and Canadian Solar inverter systems. The total installed capacity of the project is about 6MW, using a total of 54 Canadian Solar CSI-110kW photovoltaic inverters.
According to local sunshine conditions, the photovoltaic system can save a total of about 12,863.5 tons of standard coal during its 25 years of operation, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 1,373.2 tons per year. The average annual power generation is expected to reach 1.687 million kWh, which is equivalent to planting 75,000 trees per year.
During the project construction, BIPV photovoltaic building integration technology was adopted, covering multiple areas such as factory buildings, office buildings, dormitory buildings and carports, achieving a perfect unity of power generation benefits and waterproof and heat insulation benefits, and maximizing resource conservation, environmental protection and pollution reduction.
"Green and low-carbon development is the trend of the times, and those who follow it will prosper." A relevant person in charge of Hubei Yicheng Tianshu Textile Factory said that the company will uphold the original entrepreneurial intention of "serving the people and working hard to build the country", provide efficient and energy-saving conditions for production and operation, and provide employees with a healthy production and operation environment", and strive to create a new green ecological factory.
