2.77GW/4.69GWh! Shanxi Shuozhou announces the first batch of new energy storage projects

On March 22, the Shuozhou Municipal Energy Bureau of Shanxi Province issued the "Notice on Issuing the First Batch of New Energy Storage Projects", which included 21 projects in the first batch of new energy storage project construction library, with an installed capacity of 1673.5MW/2485.5MWh. There are 5 projects in the new energy storage project reserve library, with an installed capacity of 1100MW/2200MWh, and a total capacity of 2773.5MW/4685.5MWh.

Energy Bureaus of all counties (cities, districts), Innovation and Development Departments of Municipal Economic Development Zones:

According to the "14th Five-Year Plan" New Energy Storage Development Implementation Plan (Jin Energy New Energy Development [2022] No. 353), after the application of various counties (cities and districts) and the research and evaluation of the Provincial Energy Bureau, the first batch of projects to be included in the database are now issued, and the relevant matters are notified as follows:

1. The first batch of 21 projects included in the new energy storage project construction database has an installed capacity of 1.6735 million kilowatts. The energy bureaus of all counties (cities and districts) are requested to speed up the preliminary work of the projects and promote the early start of construction of the projects.

2. There are a total of 5 projects included in the new energy storage project reserve pool, with an installed capacity of 1.1 million kilowatts. After the projects complete relevant procedures, they will be included in the project pool on a rolling basis after demonstration.

3. Establish a rolling adjustment mechanism for the project database, and regularly adjust the projects that meet the conditions for inclusion into the database after verification. For projects that have been included in the database but have not started construction for a long time, timely remove them from the project construction database.
