Shanghai, March 10, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 3, 2023, Shanghai Payne Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Payne Technology) obtained the world's first TÜV Rheinland sodium-ion battery certification certificate.

The sodium ion certification is based on the energy storage and power battery certification standards UL1973:2022, IEC62619:2022, IEC62660-2:2018, and IEC62660-3:2022, and is an internationally recognized authoritative certificate. The certification indicates that Payne Technology's sodium ion battery technology has matured and is the first to have export qualifications for household energy storage, industrial and commercial energy storage, power station energy storage and other fields.
