Recently, the Southern Energy Regulatory Bureau held a discussion with the leaders of Guangxi Power Grid Energy Technology Co., Ltd. on promoting the development of energy storage in Guangxi.
At the meeting, Guangxi Power Grid Energy Technology Co., Ltd. reported on the construction and operation of the first independent shared energy storage in the southern region, the Pinglu Energy Storage Power Station in Wuming District, Nanning. The Southern Energy Regulatory Bureau said that it will actively support energy storage companies to contribute to the safe supply of electricity, clean energy consumption and the construction of a new power system in Guangxi; actively support the development of the energy storage market, and work with relevant parties to study the elimination of regulatory barriers to the entry of independent energy storage into the market and the "two detailed rules"; encourage independent energy storage companies to expand their operating models, obtain reasonable returns through multiple channels, and achieve orderly and healthy development.
In the next step, the Southern Energy Regulatory Bureau will continue to pay attention to the operation and development of new energy storage companies, provide guidance and regulatory services on the implementation of relevant policies, promote the green and low-carbon transformation of energy, and contribute to the high-quality development of energy.
