In accordance with relevant regulations on the environmental impact assessment approval procedures for construction projects, on February 10, the Construction Bureau of Zhengzhou Airport Economic Zone accepted and publicly announced the basic information of the environmental impact assessment documents for the new power battery production line construction project of Zhengzhou Fudi Battery Co., Ltd.
Public information shows that the total construction area is about 1.15 million square meters, and a new power battery production line will be built. After the project is completed, it will form a power production scale of 40Gwh. The planned investment is 8 billion yuan, of which environmental protection investment is about 60 million yuan, accounting for 0.75% of the total investment.
In addition, the construction unit of the project is Zhengzhou Fudi Battery Co., Ltd. According to public information, Zhengzhou Fudi Battery Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BYD.
