Photovoltaic buildings, as an economical, practical, flexible and convenient form of new energy power generation, can turn traditional buildings into energy-saving buildings for power generation, and are becoming an important force in my country's energy transformation. Among them, photovoltaic carports, as one of the main representatives, have been increasingly used and have become an important form of green and low-carbon transformation and development for enterprises, achieving both economic and social benefits.
An industrial park in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, has newly connected a BIPV photovoltaic carport project with an installed capacity of 495kW, and put it into use in a mode of self-generation and self-use, with surplus power connected to the grid. At the beginning of the project construction selection, the investor and the builder made comprehensive considerations on the large number of types of parked vehicles, the large number of charging piles, and the strong demand for electricity in the park. After weighing and comparing many aspects, they finally decided to use the QT2D micro inverter of AP Energy Technology.
Reliable performance and safer
It is reported that there are a large number of employees in the park, and many vehicles are parked every day, including cars, electric vehicles and bicycles. At the same time, the carport is equipped with multiple charging piles to provide charging services for vehicles. Therefore, the safety and fire prevention requirements of the power station are relatively high.
It is worth mentioning that AP Energy's latest generation of micro-inverters, QT2D, uses a parallel circuit design. There is no DC high voltage when the system is running, and the DC voltage is less than 120V, which can completely solve the "DC high voltage arc fire risk" and "rescue risk", and effectively avoid the occurrence of fire, electric shock and other dangers. In addition, the AP Energy micro-inverter has a built-in relay that can achieve physical disconnection and supports multiple grounding protections to further ensure the system safety of the photovoltaic carport.
Installation and maintenance are more worry-free
QT2D adopts modular design, is small in size and light in weight, plug-and-play, and is extremely easy to install. It can be easily put into use without any additional configuration. On average, a micro-inverter product can be installed in about ten minutes. In addition, QT2D is also equipped with a digital intelligent operation and maintenance system. Users can log in to the APEN EMA intelligent operation and maintenance platform through a computer or mobile phone to check the power generation status at any time and easily locate the exact location of the faulty component, which greatly saves operation and maintenance costs and makes the control of the photovoltaic carport more worry-free.
Reduce costs, increase efficiency and save energy
There are many office and production buildings in the park, and the demand for electricity is very strong. Therefore, the green electricity produced by the photovoltaic carport every day is not only provided to the charging piles, but also to alleviate the electricity demand of the entire park. QT2D has the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) function, and the system runs without the "short board effect" and is not afraid of the influence of shadows. Compared with the traditional string inverter system, under the same conditions, it can generate 5% to 25% more electricity. Its power generation benefits are obvious and can provide a steady stream of green electricity for the park.
In addition, QT2D can also connect 8 high-power photovoltaic panels at the same time, and without the need to install additional devices and electrical equipment, it can achieve continuous output of three-phase balanced AC power, reduce operating risks and system costs, improve power quality, and help companies truly reduce costs and increase efficiency!
With the in-depth development of photovoltaic building integration, it is believed that photovoltaic carports will be more popularized and applied. In this process, AP Energy Technology will, as always, promote product development guided by market demand, realize technological innovation based on industry challenges, and provide safe, efficient and intelligent MLPE technology solutions for more photovoltaic carports.
