Recently, just one month after the signing of the 50MW/102MWh Swangate project in the UK, Trina Energy Storage has once again won over 100MWh of energy storage orders in the overseas market. It will use the liquid cooling system TrinaStorage Elementa in the UK to build its first overseas solar energy storage project with a capacity of 25MW/58MWh and a 50MW/58MWh battery energy storage project in collaboration with SMS.
"Photovoltaic + energy storage" is the key direction to ensure the long-term and stable development of the power grid. It is not only beneficial to improve the stability of the power grid, but also to maximize energy utilization and customer benefits. The UK has previously formulated a climate strategy of "achieving a zero-carbon power system and net zero emissions by 2050". Trina Energy Storage shoulders the mission of green energy transformation and development. In the central region of the UK, the TrinaStorage Elementa liquid cooling system is combined with the original photovoltaic project at the construction site to create the first overseas photovoltaic storage project with a capacity of 25MW/58MWh. After the project is completed, it will greatly enhance the flexibility and security of the local power grid and become a vivid example of "photovoltaic storage integration".
