The first shared energy storage project invested and constructed by China Energy Engineering Corporation was successfully connected to the grid

Recently, the 30 sets of box-type transformers and 60 sets of energy storage units of the 100MW/200MWh shared energy storage power station demonstration project of China Energy Construction Investment Lvyuan Substation, invested by China Energy Construction Investment Company and EPC general contractor of Shanxi Electric Power Construction, completed the power supply impact, marking the successful full capacity grid connection of the project. The project is the first shared energy storage project independently invested and constructed by China Energy Construction.

The project is located in Jingyuan County, Guyuan City, Ningxia, covering an area of ​​about 30 acres, with a total investment of 430 million yuan. It is a demonstration energy storage project for China Energy Construction to build a "three new" energy construction platform and expand the new energy market in Ningxia. The construction team made every effort to promote the project construction and successfully achieved the established power generation goals, which won unanimous praise and high recognition from the local government.

After the project is put into operation, the annual peak-shaving capacity will be more than 50 million kWh, which will be of great significance to the construction of a new power system in the local area, alleviating the peak-shaving pressure of the power grid, and promoting the optimization and upgrading of the power structure.
